Kawooya Denis 1 year ago

Katikkiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga, has called on coffee farmers in Busujju County to embrace coffee farming with dedication, especially encouraging the youth to begin while they still have the energy and ability to sustain the work before old age sets in.

The Katikkiro stressed that hard work is essential to overcoming poverty, warning that laziness is a direct path to economic hardship. He urged the people of Busujju to cultivate a culture of diligence and resilience in their farming activities.

During his address, he also recognized the efforts of outstanding farmers in the region, including Yiga Vincent from Mayirye, Afande Christopher Lutwama from Ngugulo, Nakalumba Mariam from Bweza, and Bulesa Fred Male from Nalugamba, praising them as examples of commitment and productivity.

In addition, Buganda Kingdom ministers who accompanied the Katikkiro advised residents to celebrate responsibly, reminding them of the importance of safeguarding community harmony and discipline.
